Cherry Blossom in Fuchu

The cherry blossoms started to bloom in Fuchu, so I took some of the students to see the cherry blossoms. Compare to Okinawa's cherry blossoms, it is much whiter. The students took pictures of it and so did I.

府中で桜が咲き始めました！それで桜を見に、生徒たちと散歩に行きました。沖縄の桜と比べると、白いです。これこそ、内地の桜吹雪！！！（笑）生徒達は桜の写真を撮り、私も撮りました。

Tohoku Trip w/ Bible College Students & Okinawa team & Fuchu team

From Tuesday morning to Thursday morning, the bible college students, and the people from Okinawa, and people from Fuchu went up to Tohoku. We took three vans up there and helped Chuck and Yumi out with the outreaches that they planned. The people from Okinawa who came up with us was Tim (a.k.a. Hakugaijin), Moriyuki (Tim's English student), Tommy, and Rob. From Fuchu was Rich and Josh Takamori. And the Bible College students totaled to 14 people (including the interns). The ride up there was good and smooth, took about six hours or so.

火曜の朝から木曜の朝、神学生、沖縄から来ていた人、と府中の人達と東北に行って来ました。三台のヴァンに乗ってチャックさんとゆみさんの手伝いに行きました。沖縄から来た人はティム（ハクガイジン）、もりゆき（ティムの英会話の生徒）、トムさん、とロバート。府中からはリッチさんとジョッシュ。そして14人の（インターン含めて）神学生。大体6時間のドライブでした。

The night that we arrived, we just prayed for the people at Tusukihama, and played Tim played worship, and had a good fellowship time with each other. Chuck and Yumi invited the people in Tsukihama, but the weather was bad, so no one showed up.

最初の夜は月浜の人々のために祈り、ティムが賛美をしてくれました。また良い交わりの時間を過ごせました。チャックさんとゆみさんは月浜の人々を誘ったけれど、天気が嵐のような天気だったため、誰も来ませんでした。

The next day, the guys went to help Chiba-san to do some farm work, and the girls stayed back and had a tea party with the people of Tsukihama. But because of the rain last night, the dirt was hard, so we could not plant potatoes, and just ended up planting corns that took about twenty minutes. So during the rest of the time, the guys just chilled.

次の日の朝は男性はちばさんの所に行き農業の手伝いに行き、女性は残って月浜の人々とお茶会をしました。昨日の雨のせいで土が固く、芋を埋めることが出来なく、ただとうもろこしの種を植えました。みんなが手伝ったので、作業は20分で終わりました。その後、男性はゆったりしたときを持ちましたとさ。（笑

In the afternoon, we had a Hakugaijin concert, so we helped out with getting the place ready. There was some kids that showed up, so me and the students played with the kids, and we did a little Easter skit for the kids. That was fun.

午後はＨＡＫＵＧＡＩＪＩＮＮのコンサートがあったため、その準備の手伝いをしました。コンサート中子供達が来たので、俺と神学生の何人かは子供達と別の部屋で遊び、イースターの劇をしました。とても楽しかったです。

And the next day we said farewells to Chuck and Yumi and Keagen (who was staying at their place) and drove back to Fuchu.

木曜日はチャックさんとゆみさん、そしてキーガン（チャックさんの家に泊まっていました）にさよならを言い、府中に戻りました。

That night at Fuchu, Tim had another concert. Many people came and it was a blessed time. Also my friend Takuya came to the concert so that was fun.

その夜、府中でもティムはＨＡＫＵＧＡＩＪＩＮＮのコンサートをしてくれました。大勢の人が来て、とても祝福な時をもてました。また、自分の友達、たくや、も来てくれて、楽しかったです。

Disneyland w/ Josh

On Saturday, me and Josh Brevick went to Tokyo Disneyland while others went to Edo Museum in Ryogoku. The reason why me and Josh went to Disneyland and not with the rest of the group was because we hate them...naw...haha The REAL reason is I was given a discount ticket from one of the Mom's from the preschool and it expired on that day. So to be able to use the ticket and get into Disneyland with cheaper price, we decided to split off from the gang.

土曜日、ジョッシュと一緒に東京ディズニーランドに行きました。他のみんなは両国にある江戸博物館に行きました。なぜみんなと別行動したかと言うと、彼らのことが嫌いだから…何ちゃって！（笑）本当の理由はディズニーチケットの割引券をある方からもらい期限がその日までだったからです。その割引券を使う為、彼らと別行動したと言うわけです。

The weather was great at first (we went there from the opening), but was cloudy. And because it was Saturday and Spring break, there were a lot of people there. I told Josh that the first thing that we are going to do is meet Mickey Mouse at his house. This was because the last time I went (my first time), I wasn't able to meet with Mickey because the wait was like two hours!!! So we went to see Mickey Mouse first. Than we went on couple of rides: Roger Rabbit Topsy Turvy, Car race, and Philamar Magic. We weren't able to ride as much as we wanted to, but nevertheless I had fun just being able to spend time with Josh.

オープニングから行き、天気は曇りでした。土曜日であり、また、春休みだったので、大勢の人がいました。ジョッシュに最初にミッキーに会うよと言いました。それは、最後に行ったときに（俺のディズニーデビュー）ミッキーと会えなかったからです。（なんと待ち時間が2時間！）それで、最初にミッキーに会いに行きました。そして、いくつかの乗り物にも乗りました：ロジャーラビットの車のやつ、レーシング・カー、とフェルマーマジック。初めに計画したようにはならなかったけれど、ただジョッシュと一緒に時を過ごせたので楽しかったです。

But around 1 o'clock, the weather changed from being cloudy to strong wind and rain (like a typhoon). Wait a minute...dejavu?...the last time I went (my first time) it was the same weather!! I was upset, because the ONE thing that I REALLY want to see at Disneyland is Electic Parade. But because of the weather, we decided to head on back. So once again, I was not able to see what I wanted to see....But thank you Josh for coming with me to Disneyland, had a blessed time with you!!Next time I go, really hoping for a sunny weather!!

でも一時ぐらいに曇りからの天気が強風と雨に悪化しました、台風のように。待てよ…デジャブ？…俺が最後に行ったときと同じ天気じゃないか！！！（ディズニーデビューの時）意味よ～！俺はディズニーで本当に見たい唯一のものがある。それはエレクトリック・パレード！でも天気が悪化したので、3時ぐらいに帰りました。また、見たいものが見れなかった…でも、一緒にディズニーに来てくれて、ありがとうジョッシュ！とても祝福な時でした！次行くとき晴れるといいな～（笑）

End of the Year Party

The day after the graduation, we had an End of the Year Party at the school! The mom's brought some delicious meals to share, and everyone had a great time of fellowship and eating! Afterwards the kids went upstairs to play, cause it was raining outside, and the mom's preformed the hula the other moms whom were not able to come to the graduation.

卒業式の日の次の日、学年末のパーティーが学校でありました。お母さん方はでーじまーさんな料理を持ってきてくれて、にふぇーでーびる！来てくれたみんなはとても楽しい時間を過ごせたと思います。みんながご飯を食べた後、子供達は二階で遊びに行きました。（外は雨が降っていたので・・・）ママ達は卒業式にこれなかった方にもう一度フラを披露してくれました。

WGEF Graduation

Thursday the 22nd, WGEF held graduation ceremony for Kaname and Riku who is entering into Elementry in April. But also Yuuna is moving to the Philippines, so we said our farewell to her too. I have been with the kids at WeGo since September, and I'm going to miss most of the kids. Some of the kids will change from morning time to afternoon, or not full time but part time, and it's going to be a new start? from April as we get ready for the new school year. All the kids are so precious to me, and I will miss them dearly. But at the same time I'm excited to see them again in April!!

22日の木曜日にWGEFで卒業式を行いました。今年の卒業生とはかなめとりくでした。彼らは四月から小学校に入ります。また、ゆうなもフィリピンに引っ越すためみんなで「さようなら！フィリピンでがんばってね！」とお別れのときも持ちました。去年の九月からWeGoで働いていますけど、一人ひとり大好きで、会えなくなるのが寂しいです。それは、朝に来ている子が何人かは夕方の英会話のみに変え、また、フルではなくパートでしか来ない子も四月からいます。四月から新しい？新学期がスタートします。四月からまた、よろしくお願いします。んで、四月から新しい子供達にも会えるのを楽しみにしています。

The kids did a great job at the graduation ceremony. The Banana Juice class did a wonderful job at pianica, and the Green Grass class also did a superb job with the castanets. Ocean Blue class did the hand-movements for "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and it was very outstanding!!

All of the kids did a great job on their hula too.

卒業式ではバナナ・ジュースクラスが鍵盤ハーモニカを演奏し、グリーン・グラスクラスはカスタネットを演奏？し、オーシャン・ブルークラスは手振れで「きらきら星」の曲に合わせ歌いました。とてもすばらしく、みんなグッジョブ！！！でした！（フラも忘れずに）

The mom's also performed their hula that they have been practicing for about a month and a half. In those short times, they did a great job performing hula for their kids. It was a very special event.

また、お母さん方も一ヵ月半キャンディスからフラを学び、子供達の前で披露しました。短期でこんなにまでフラを踊れるなんて、ワォ！です。とても特別なイベントでした。

WGEF Family Bowling

Yesterday, WGEF (We Go Eigo Fuchu) planned an event to spend time with the family whose kids comes to the school. So we planned to go to bowling at Round 1 ! Many families were able to come to the bowling and everybody had a blessed time playing bowling and also spending time with each other. This is the last event this school year as the school comes to a close in two weeks!! So thank you to those family who came and I hope to see you next coming school year!!

昨日、WGEF（We Go Eigo 府中）は学校に来ている子供達の家族と時間を過ごす計画を作り、ラウンド1でボーリングに行きました。多くの家族が来ることができ、ボーリングと互いと時間を過ごす中良い時を持てました。学年末の最後のイベントだったので、すごく盛り上がることが出来たと思います（笑）学校は後2週間！（早っ！）。ボーリングに来れた皆さん、良い時間が過ごせたので、ありがとうございます。また、新学期でお会いしましょう！（まだ、二週間あるけど）

Late happy birthday blog post

It's already March, and I forgot to post something very special...on the last Sunday of February, at Calvary Chapel Fuchu, we celebrated Kumiko Conger (Lewis's wife) and Yuki Miwa's birthday. I know it's a late notice, but happy birthday to you two!!

もう三月になり、とても大切な特別なことをポストするの忘れてしまいました！！2月の最後の日曜に、カルバリーチャペル府中で久美子さん（ルイスの奥さん）と勇希の誕生日を祝いました！遅いお知らせですが、二人とも、お誕生日おめでとう！
