W2 fellowship w/ Settlers

Tonight at W2 Tokyo, only few people came, and Alex taught the word from Leviticus. Because there were only few people that came, we sat together and did like a family devotional study, rather than the normal W2.

Afterwards me, Naoko, Aki, and Tsubasa played "Settlers", and it was a lot of fun. And you know the saying, "Time flies when you are having fun!" and that is what happened, haha.

Naoko won the game, and it was her first time playing too!! Good job!! I'm looking forward to another game, but that's not till next time.

今晩のＷ２は少数人しか来ませんでした。アレックスがレビ記から教えてくれ、少数人だったため、普段のＷ２ではなく、家族デボーションのようなバイブル・スタディーでした。

学びの後、なおこさん、あき、そして、つばささんと一緒に「セトラーズ」を遊び、とても楽しかったです。皆さんもこの言葉聞いたことあると思います、「あっという間に時間が過ぎる」。その通り、時間がすぐに去って行ってしまいました。今回はなおこさんが勝利を獲得しました。しかも、なんと！彼女がこのゲームをするのは今回が初めて！！ビギナーズ・ラック！！次回のゲームが楽しみです！

On Saturday, the girls planned Aki's surprise bridle shower, so me, Lewis, Josh, and Bryan went out to town to "meander"! (a new word that I learned!)

We just wandered around at Shinjuku, but sadly it was raining. But it was all good, just to be able to hang out with the guys, because I don't get that many opportunities to hang out with them.

Lewis knew the place better than the rest of us, so he took us around and showed us places. And we went out to lunch at a Mexican restaurant. The food was good, but kinda pricey and not filling. Lewis also took us to a book store, where they had many English books, but sadly they did not have any Ted Dekker books there. But I found something that caught my attention, and I bought it too! It is a stuffed animal wolf. For the longest time I have been searching for a stuffed animal wolf, but they would not have any. But at last, I found it, and it was reasonable so I bought it and named him "Zion"!! A new partner in ministry!! haha

土曜日、女性達はあきのサプライズ・ブライダル・シャワーを行ったので、男性（ルイス、ブライアン、ジョッシュ、と俺）は町ブラをしました。新宿に行ったのは良かったけど、雨でした。まぁ結果的にはあんまし、ルイスたちと遊びに行く機会がなかったので、今回彼らと遊びに行けただけで良かったです。（天気はひとまず置いといて）

自分達よりルイスのほうが新宿を良く知っていたので、いろいろと連れて行ってもらいました。昼は新宿にあるメキシカン料理店に行ってきました。美味しかったけど、値段的には高すぎ、お腹いっぱいにはならなかった。昼を済ませ、ルイスは自分達を本屋さんに連れて行ってくれました。その本屋には英語の本もあったけれど、自分が探していたテッド・デッカーの本は一つも置いていなくがっかりしました。でも、そこに自分の注目を引くものがあり、それを買いました。それは、狼のぬいぐるみです。長年狼のぬいぐるみを探していたけれど、全然見つからなくて、今回それをやっと見つけ、買いました。その狼を「ザイオン」と名付けました。ミニストリーの新しいパートナー！（笑）

Last day at Iwakuni

Having to leave Iwakuni was sad, wish I could have stayed there for another day, but God is good.

東京に戻るってちょっと悲しかった。もう一日だけいたかったなっと願ったけど、神様はすばらしい方である！

Well, my last day at Iwakuni started by going to CCIwakuni's Sunday service. Pastor Mike gave me an opportunity to share what kind of ministry I was doing at Tokyo, so I shared about the Bible College.

岩国での最後の日はＣＣ岩国の日曜礼拝に参加することから始まりました。マイク牧師は俺が東京でどんなミニストリーをしているのか分かち合う機会を与えてくださり、バイブル・カレッジのことを分かち合いました。

Pastor Mike shared the word from Revelation 6 that day, and it was very encouraging. He shared that the book of Revelation should be looked as a book of victory rather than something that is complicated to understand, which it is. Also injustice will be punished, but in God's perfect timing.

その日、マイク牧師は黙示録6章から教え、とても励まされました。彼は「黙示録は理解するのに難しいから読まない人もいる。でも、そんな考えを持つではなく、勝利の書物としてみるべきだ。」と励ましを与えていました。また、神様の完璧な時の中で、不正は裁かれるとも教えてくれました。

After church, Pastor Mike and some of the people from his congregation went out for lunch at a Mexican restaurant. It was very delicious! After lunch we came back to the Silva's house, and the kids and Jon and I went to the park and played "cops and gangsters". As we were just chilling at the neighborhood park, three kids came and started to talk with us. The three kids were so cute, and very nice, and I got along with them really well. They even gave me like marble and plastic jewel that they picked up on the ground, haha, how nice of them. It was so sad at the same time getting to know them, but having to leave to go back, but I hope that will open doors for the Silva's to reach out to their neighbors.

礼拝後、シルバ家とＣＣ岩国に来ている何人かと一緒にメキシカン料理を食べに行きました。でーじおいしかった！昼ごはんの後はシルバ家に行き、子供達とジョンと一緒に近所の公園に遊びにいきました。公園でゆんたくしているとき、近所の子供達、三人、が来て、彼らと話、仲良くなりました。その子供達はでーじ可愛かったし、やさしかったし、すぐ仲良くなれました。その一人は俺に、道端で拾ったビー玉とプラスチックの宝石（よくユーフォーキャッチャーにあるやつ）をくれました。でーじやっさ！すぐ仲良く慣れたのに、東京に戻ることは本当に悲しかった。でも、この機械を通してシルバ家に近所に福音を伝える機械が与えられますように。

After the park, we played a last game of "Settlers", but because of the time, we didn't fully finished the game, which was a bummer, haha, even though I wasn't winning.

公園から帰ったら、最後の「セトラーズ」を遊びました。しかし、時間がなかったので最後まで遊べなかった。残念！

But thank you for the blessed time, Silva family & Jon!! I was very encourage in the ministries that you guys were doing, and I hope to come out there again and spend time with you once more. May God continue to bless you guys abundantly!!

Yesterday

So as I arrived at Iwakuni yesterday with a little incidents, evening time, me and Jon went over to the Silva Family's house and spend time with them. First, me and Jon, and Pastor Mike's three kids went to the neighborhood park and played "cops and robbers". It was fun, and interesting, as the neighborhood was very new to me. Afterwards Sonya, Pastor Mike's wife, taught me how to play "Settler", an addicting game for most of the Calvary people, as far as I know. It was my first time playing it, but I got the hang of it, and miraculosly won the second game! And the Silva's put the name of the person who won on the board game box, so I was honored to place my name on the Silva's "Settler"'s game board box.

昨日、あるすれ違いがありながらスタートした岩国の旅だったけど、昨晩はシルバ家に遊びに行きました。最初はジョンと俺と、マイク牧師の三人の子供達と「刑泥」を近所の公園でやりました。でも、近所あたりがよく知らなかったので、すぐ捕まってしまったけれど、楽しかったです。その後、ソニヤさん、マイク牧師の奥さん、が「セトラー」って言うゲームを教えてくれました。カルバリーの中では結構人気あるボードゲームです。初めて、実際に遊んだ中、コツをつかみ、奇跡的にゲーム二回目で勝ってしまいました！シルバ家では買った人はそのボードゲームを入れる箱に名前を記入していたので、早速自分の名前を記入する事ができたんで、でーじでした。

A day with Piper

Today was a very busy and a fun day! as I was able to spend time with Jon.

今日は、ジョンと共に時間を過ごせて、とても忙しく、また楽しい一日でした。

To start off the day, we went to the church and watch a devotional video called "Truth Project" at 6:30 in the morning. For about thirteen weeks, a person who comes to CCIwakuni showed that video, and the people who came watched and discussed about the things that they watched. And today happened to be the last video, and for me personally, it was a very good video that I, myself, would recommend watching.

初めに、朝6：30教会に行き、「Truth Project」って言うデボーション・ビデオを見に行きました。ＣＣ岩国に来ているある人が13週間通してビデオを見て、見た後、その内容について語る時間を過ごすと言うときを持っていました。そして、今日がその最後のビデオでとても良かったです。個人的にとても良いビデオで、私からも見るのをお勧めします。

After that, we went back to the house, and got ready and headed off to Miya Island, which was recommended by Pastor Mike for us to go and visit. So we took the train and the ferry to get to the Island. There were wild deer, and I was able to touch it, and also I was attacked by one too, haha. And me and Jon went up a one and a half hour hike to the very top of the mountain. It was a difficult journey, but we made it to the top, a great accomplishment! Than we went back down the mountain, which took another hour or so (it was a long trip). When we came back down from the mountain, we went to the aquarium.

その後、ジョンの家に戻り、マイク牧師からお勧めされた宮島に行ってきました。電車とフェリーを乗り、島に行き、島には野生の鹿がいました。また、触れることも出来たけれど、鹿一頭に攻撃されました。（笑）宮島の山にも1時間半かけて登りました。とても大変なハイキングとなり、山頂にたどり着くことが出来、ある達成感を感じています。また、一時間かけて山を下り、その後水族館にも寄りました。

Coming back from the Miya Island trip, Jon took me to the Iwakuni castle, but found out that it was closed for some reason, so we went to see the Kentai bridge. We had some time to spare, and was tired from all that hiking, we decided to go to the Onsen near Kintai bridge. It was very relaxing.

Than we went to McD's for dinner, and came back to Jon's house, and right now getting ready to go to bed for Sunday!

宮島から帰ってきて、ジョンが岩国城に連れて行ってくれました。しかし、なんらかんらの理由で閉まっていたので、襟帯橋を見に行きました。時間があったし、またでーじ大変だったハイキングの疲れを取るため、襟帯橋の近くにあった温泉により、疲れた体をリフレッシュしに行きました。でーじリラックスできたやっさー。

夕飯はマクドナルドで済まし、ジョンの家に戻り、今寝る準備をしています。

Here I am, in Iwakuni!
I arrived here around ten in the morning and found myself walking to the church from the station haha
This was not planned. But as I arrived early, I thought to myself "hey, the church is not that far away from the station and maybe Jon and Pastor Mike might be there". So I walked. Little did I know that Jon was going to pick me up by a car, I slowly walked toward the church, while Jon arrived at the station thirty minutes later waiting for my arrival. This is the beginning of my trip.

岩国に到着！

朝の10時に到着し、岩国駅から教会に歩くことになった私がいました（笑）。

これは、予想外なことです。早く到着してしまった私は「ここから教会はそんなに遠くないし、ジョンもマイク牧師も教会にいるかもしれない。」と心の中で思った私は、教会まで歩いていきました。その裏では、ジョンが来るまで駅まで私を向かいに行っていたことです。ジョンは三十分後に駅に到着し、私が駅から出てくるのを待っていました。

これが、私の旅の始まりです。

いざ！岩国へ！

今日から岩国へ出発！
でも最初は小さな不安があった。内地にきて電車もまだ慣れず、それに加えまだ東京なれていないですΣ（・□・；）
そんな私が初めて一人で夜行バスなんて予想外！でも友達の励ましに導かれているから、これも信仰の一歩なのかな?（笑）
でもでも、神様が一緒にいるからなんくるないさ～
不安だけど、その不安神様に委ね、いざ、岩国へ！

Today, I'm heading for Iwakuni!

But there is a little fear in me. Since I have came to main land, I have not gotten used to the train, nor Tokyo itself.

And to take the night bus by myself was beyond expectation! But I was lead to go and encourage a friend, so I guess it's a step of faith? huh

Even though I'm a little fearful of this trip, I know that God is with me, so it'll be okay.

These fears that I have, I'm gonna give it to Jesus! Now, to Iwakuni I go!!!!

What has been happening...

Sorry for those who are following my blog or reading it, but I haven't had a time to post anything recently so I would like to take this time to tell you about what has been happening to me here at Fuchu!!
First of all, the semester has ended.  My John class overall went well, and Yuko, Chala, and Aya were able graduate safely this semester.  Right now all of the students and interns (except Chala, Yuko, and Naoko) went back so it's a bit sad not having a lot of people here at the house.  My best friend Josh also went back to the states too, and he's planning to come back, but still unsure of when he will be able to, so for me that's another sad news.  But I know that God has a huge plan for him, so I am not that worried.
As for WeGoEigo, it is going great.  The new school year has been started and there are now more kids than before.  It is growing! I like all of the new kids that comes and it is very refreshing to me to just be able to play with the kids.

Well, that is about it.  But I do not have a busy schedule as before, so I will try to post little by little to keep you guys updated!

俺のブログをフォローしている人々と呼んでいる方に。最近何も更新していなくてすみません。でも、この場を持って府中で何が起きているのかをまとめて説明いたします。
最初に、神学校の学期は無事終了しました。自分が教えていたヨハネの授業も無事に終えることが出来、神に感謝です。また、ゆうこ、ちゃら、そしてあやさんも今学期無事に卒業を迎えることが出来ました。今は生徒やインターン（ちゃら、ゆうこ、そしてなおこさんを除き）はそれぞれの家に帰り、ここは寂しくなりました。大勢の人がいた場所が少人数になって、なんか寂しい気もします。それに加え、自分の親友のジョッシュもアメリカに帰り、彼自身もいつまた日本に帰ってくるか分からず、寂しいです。でも神様が彼の人生にまた偉大な計画を用いていることを信じているので、安心することが出来ています。
ウィーゴー英語ではデージ最高の時を持っています。新しい学期も始まり、以前より子供達が増えています。すばらしい成長ですよ！新しい子供達も楽しいし、自分にとっては子供達と遊ぶことで癒されています。
神に感謝。

May day Lei day

On May 1st, the school celebrated Lei Day! 

On that day the kids performed their hula to their mommies, and the mom's who learned hula last school year performed for us again!

And on this day, Candice taught a new hula to the kids, so I'm looking forward to that!
