From Wednesday thru Friday, I had the opportunity to go to Tohoku with Pastor Travis, Pastor Bud, Pastor Santo, Pastor Kiyomasa and his wife, and Alex. This time we went up to Tohoku to Tsukihama to have a little concert for the people to encourage them to go to the Graham Festival that will be happening next week, and also for the house dedication for Chuck and Yumi Robb.
水曜から金曜日、東北に行ける機会が訪れました。トラベス牧師、バッド牧師、山東牧師、きよまさ牧師とたえこさん、そしてアレックスと一緒に東北に行きました。今回の旅の理由は来週あるグラハムフェスタブルに人々を参加する励ましのコンサートを行いに行きました。そして、チャックとゆみさんの家の献堂式にも参加するために行きました。
It was my first time going to Tohoku, and I didn't know what to expect. But God blessed the trip with good weather, and I had a great time being able to fellowship with wonderful pastors. Also it was great seeing Chuck and Yumi again, and seeing the great works that God will be doing through them.
今回東北に行くのは初めてで、何を予想するべきか分からなかった。しかし、神様は旅を祝福してくださり、良い天気に恵まれ、すばらしい牧師達の交わりを過ごせました。また、チャックさんとゆみさんとまた会えてとてもよかったです。神様は彼らを通して偉大なことをするには違いありません。
We also went up to Ushinomiya, and many people came to the concert. There were many kids who came to the event, so during when Pastor Bud was sharing the message, me and Alex took them and play some games with them. It was great being able to play with the kids too.
東北の月浜以外に牛野宮にもそのコンサートを行いました。牛野宮では多くの人が来ました。いっぱいの子供達も来たので、バッド牧師がメッセージを話している間、アレックスで体育館で子供達と色んなゲームをして遊びました。子供達と遊べてとても楽しかったです。
One thing that God has put it on my heart during this trip was to be in prayer. I know it has been close to a year since the incident, and I have not prayed about them. But from this trip, I was reminded again that I can pray for them even though I cannot go over there and to serve or do labor work.
この旅で神様が心に語ってくれたことは祈ることでした。津波とかあってもうすぐ一年になりますけど、東北の人々の為にとりなしの祈りとか最近全然していなかったことに気づかれました。この旅で改めて気づかされ、肉体労働もしなくても、いつも東北に行けなくても、祈ることは出来ます。
I had a blessed time, and praise God for his wonderful works up in Tohoku. And thank you Pastor Bud for encouraging me to imagine doing great things for God and teaching me guitar, and thank you Pastor Santo for giving me advise on cooking.
とても楽しい、祝福な時が持て、神に感謝です。東北で神様は偉大な働きをすると私は信じています。神の為に偉大なことをすると考えることを励まし、ギターを教えてくれて、ありがとうございます、バッド牧師さん。そして、料理のアドバイスをくれた、山東牧師さんもありがとうございます。
